About the Job –
As an experienced HV Project Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of high voltage electrical projects.
This is a senior delivery role responsible for planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, safety compliance and technical oversight across complex programmes. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest technical and safety standards.
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of HV electrical projects
- Own project planning, scope, programme, budget and resource management
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams
- Provide technical oversight across HV systems including switchgear, transformers and substation design
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Identify project risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Maintain clear project documentation, governance and reporting throughout delivery
- Proven experience delivering HV projects within utilities, power, construction or engineering environments
- Strong technical understanding of HV systems and installations
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Project Management (or similar)
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) highly desirable
- Strong leadership capability with excellent stakeholder and client-facing skills
- Organised, commercially aware and confident managing complex programmes
