About the Job:
- As a technical manager, you will be a subject matter expert on solar and battery storage installation, reviewing and signing off solar designs and answering challenging technical queries from the sales team.
- Manage their large and diverse range of installation partners to deliver a great experience for both their partners and customers (higher availability, faster speeds, etc.).
- Ensure that installations are completed in line with MCS regulations as well as their own stringent internal quality standards (ongoing training provided along with some occasional onsite work).
- Be willing to travel to installations within your region (London & South East UK) as required (1-2 days per week) and to their HQ (2 days per week)
About you:
- Minimum of 3 years electrical experience
- Knowledge of, and experience in Solar PV installations and Battery installations
- Excellent knowledge of wiring regulations and certifications
- NVQ Level 3 and fully qualified AM2 electrical qualifications (or equivalent)
- Inspection and testing qualifications (City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition City & Guilds (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
