Job Title – Business Development & Public Relations Manager

Location & flexibility – Based in Karlsruhe, Germany, with some international travel required.
Salary & Benefits – up to €72,000 + 30 days’ annual leave, and a personal development budget.
About the Job –

Represent the organisation at industry events, government forums and with key stakeholders.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across public and private sectors.

Lead and coordinate grant applications, subsidy submissions and tender bids.

Build and manage strategic relationships with government bodies, research institutions and industry partners.

Negotiate and review contracts while tracking performance, pipeline and sales activity.
About you –
-
5+ years’ experience in government affairs or business development within technical industries.

Strong understanding of EU funding systems, industrial policy and public sector tenders.
-
Degree in business, engineering or a related field, with proven success in bid writing.

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts.

Native level German and fluent English.
