Job Title – Head of Commercial (1-year FTC)

Their Purpose – A cutting-edge technology business developing advanced materials and processes to make lithium-ion batteries cheaper, cleaner and higher?performing.

Location & flexibility – Bristol-based with flexibility depending on business needs.

Salary & Benefits – up to £80k, 25 days + BH, pension & private medical insurance

About the Job –
- Lead the entire commercial function, developing and marketing the company’s offering to global markets.
- Gather customer requirements and translate these into new or improved product propositions in collaboration with technical and operational teams.
- Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies to grow customer networks and secure new partnerships.
- Own and manage brand strategy, customer account planning, and customer journeys from first engagement through to deployment.
- Represent the organisation externally at conferences, trade fairs and industry events.

About You –
- Strong experience in the battery industry, ideally across automotive, energy storage, consumer electronics, aviation or similar sectors.
- Proven track record developing and executing commercial strategy, managing complex multi?stakeholder sales cycles, and negotiating customer contracts.
- Skilled in building customer networks, supply chain partnerships, and leading cross?functional teams.
- Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
