About the Job:
As a Solar O&M Site Labourer, you will support the Operations & Maintenance team with day-to-day activities across solar sites nationwide. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong work ethic, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a site-based team.
You will assist with general site duties including maintenance, repairs, vegetation management, and site safety, ensuring solar assets remain operational, safe, and well maintained.
- Comply with all company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance on site infrastructure
- Support basic maintenance activities on solar systems under supervision
- Maintain vegetation control around solar arrays in line with safe working practices
- Operate site machinery and hand tools including strimmers, leaf blowers, and brush cutters (training provided)
- Maintain site security by repairing and maintaining fences and gates
- Ensure site cleanliness and safe access at all times
- Complete mandatory training and obtain required certifications
- Drive a company van to transport tools, equipment, and materials (work use only)
- Tow trailers where required to support site operations
About you:
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety
- Physically fit with the ability to carry out manual labour
- Reliable, conscientious, and hard-working
- Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team
- Previous experience working on solar farms or similar outdoor construction environments
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
