Job Title – Production Assistant (US)
Their Purpose – An award winning cleantech organisation transforming difficult to recycle organic waste into high value biochar products supporting clean energy and circular economy goals.
Location & flexibility – Northern New Mexico, USA. Onsite role within a new production facility.
Salary & Benefits – $45,000 + benefits
About the Job –
• Support daily biochar production, including operation of pyrolysis and bagging equipment (training provided)
• Assist with site setup, equipment installation, and general preparation of the new facility
• Handle materials, receive deliveries, prepare shipments, and support logistics activities
• Carry out routine cleaning, safety checks, and basic maintenance tasks
• Maintain simple production logs, inventory counts, and basic administrative records
About you –
• Experience in a hands on work environment such as manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or agriculture
• Comfortable with physical work, manual handling, and outdoor/industrial settings
• Reliable, safety conscious, and able to follow instructions while working independently
• Strong work ethic with willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and tools
• Basic computer literacy for simple logs and checklists
