About the Job –
- Support the delivery of fusion engineering projects through broad technical input and coordination across internal teams and external partners.
- Manage technical interactions with suppliers, including assessment, qualification, performance monitoring, and resolution of technical issues.
- Contribute to procurement activities by reviewing technical documentation, developing specifications, and ensuring alignment between project requirements and supplier capabilities.
- Provide support with the interpretation of technical requirements, review of supplier deliverables, and clarification of engineering obligations.
- Perform process engineering tasks such as workflow definition, process flow diagram and piping and instrumentation diagram assessment, system evaluation, and optimisation of component development..
- Master’s degree in engineering or a related scientific discipline, ideally with a background in process engineering, mechanical engineering, nuclear engineering, or chemical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering within industrial or advanced technology sectors, with a primary background in process/system engineering and demonstrated experience working at the interface between engineering design and supplier execution.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical information and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency with CAD tools, mechanical design principles, and the interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in process engineering, including system-level evaluation of process and equipment designs.
