Job Title – Site Supervisor (6 month minimum contract)  
 
Their Purpose – A global business specialising in renewable energy solutions such as Battery Energy Storage Systems and Ground mount utility scale solar for commercial properties and hotels.  
 
Location &, flexibility – Fully remote with international travel on a project basis

About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor with expertise in solar and battery storage systems. The successful candidate will oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar and battery systems on various project sites. This role requires leadership skills to manage and train a team of technicians and ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and safely.
 
  • You will be responsible for leading and managing on-site teams in the installation and commissioning of solar and battery storage systems.
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budge and to the required quality standards whilst coordinating with project manager, engineer and other stakeholders.
  • Responsible for performing and supervising testing and commissioning of solar pv systems and battery storage units including troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise during installation or maintenance.
  • Train and mentor onsite technicians, ensuring the adhere to safety and quality standards whilst conducting regular team meeting to review project progress and address concerns.
  • Responsible for enforcing strict compliance with health and safety regulations on all project sites whilst ensuring all installation comply with relevant industry standards and local regulations.
About you:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in solar and battery storage systems
  • Proven experience in testing and commissioning electrical systems
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with excellent problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and adapt to various working environments.
  • Familiarity with various international electrical standards and regulations is advantageous.
