Job Title – Sales Director
 
Their Purpose – Their mission is help drive environmental impact through cutting-edge cleantech advancements, including pyrolysis-based biochar production that sequesters carbon and supports circular economy goals.
 
Location &, flexibility – UK wide

Salary & Benefits – Up to £80k (OTE £100k+), 1% share options
 
About the Job:
  • Lead national and European sales strategy for their flagship product, focused on the anaerobic digestion and biogas sectors.
  • Identify and prioritise the top 250 potential clients from a market of ~700 businesses, driving engagement across multiple regions.
  • Develop a pipeline to deliver 50+ product trials annually, with 30+ leads currently active and more needed to meet growth targets.
  • Secure full price sales with 10 clients.

About you:
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within cleantech, AD, bioenergy, or agricultural inputs (e.g., additives or fertilisers).
  • Strong consultative selling skills and experience overcoming objections with complex, technical products.
  • Deep understanding of the anaerobic digestion ecosystem and existing relationships within the sector.
  • Experience running efficient sales pipelines and using CRM tools to manage opportunities and conversion rates.
  • Ability to work independently in a start-up environment and operate effectively across multiple regions.
