Job Title – Project Engineer
Their Purpose – They provide non-destructive radioactivity measurement solutions and services to the nuclear industry worldwide. Their instruments have applications in nuclear safeguards, radioactive waste assay and sentencing, and radiation detection.
Location &, flexibility – Wallingford (onsite, then hybrid after 3 month probation)

About the Job:

Responsible for working on delivery of projects and instrumentation at all stages and processes of the project lifecycle from project inception to project close out, and in the development of new products.

Ability to support the management of projects, including resource management, project scheduling, procurement.

Documentation creation and checking to a standard suitable for release to customers.

Support of the electro-mechanical assembly of the systems.

Participation and input to meetings with clients both virtually and in person.

Functional testing of hardware and software to agreed test plans which will be developed by the Test teams from templates agreed with Technical, Projects.

Ability to plan and execute test programmes to agreed timeframes and specifications.
About you:

Preferred that some experience of project engineering (18 months to 2 years) is held by the candidate.

Exceptional graduate applications to be considered. Good Mechanical and/or Electrical knowledge preferred, with ‘hands on’ experience.

Experience of Microsoft office and planning software packages

Knowledge of software development and test processing preferred.
