About the Job:
As Mechanical engineer you will play a critical role in the smooth delivery of projects as you will be required to engineer several projects at the same time or one large project. The ability to liaise technically and commercially with colleagues, customers and suppliers is essential.
- You will be responsible for interpreting customers technical drawing and requirements whilst producing manufacturing panel arrangements/fabrication drawings.
- Responsible for participating in the tender to project team handover meetings as well as both internal and external meetings, such as project kick-offs and project reviews as well as conducting site surveys (where appropriate).
- Producing BOMs to enable procurement of all mechanical items as well as producing and issuing any drawings deemed necessary to allow review, approval and/or production of the required system design.
- Minimum of 2 years as a mechanical engineer
- Experience in using CAD with preparation of 3D drawings.
- Experience working in electrical protection sector is beneficial but not essential
- Efficient time management
