Job Responsibilities –

Designing magnets using computer-aided design (CAD) software and performing simulations or analytical calculations to optimize magnet geometries and magnetic field performance.

Selecting appropriate magnetic materials, such as ferromagnetic alloys, rare-earth magnets, or superconducting materials, based on the desired magnetic properties and application requirements.

Designing cryogenic systems to maintain the magnets at ultra-low temperatures and selecting appropriate superconducting materials.
