About the Job:
Reporting to the engineering manager, the electrical engineer will be responsible for the electrical design of customer orders within a project team. You will be communicating with customer and internal stakeholders whilst coordinating engineering resources to ensure completion of the most economical technical solution.
- You will be responsible for interpreting customers technical drawing and requirements whilst producing manufacturing wiring diagrams from schematics.
- Responsible for performing the technical dialogue with clients including filtering, submitting and receiving all project team queries and action all formal drawings.
- Responsible for conducting site surveys (where appropriate) at customer sites respecting all relevant health and safety rules.
- Producing BOMs to enable procurement of all electrical sundries as well as producing and issuing any drawings deemed necessary to allow review, approval and/or production of the required system design. This could involve:
- Wiring diagrams
- Cable drawings/schedules
- Equipment schedules
About you:
- ONC level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years as an electrical engineer
- Experienced with producing electrical drawings
- Experience in using CAD
- Factory working in a manufacturing/utilities environment is beneficial but not essential
