Purpose.

Our partner is a leading hydrogen technology company delivering projects and solutions in the low carbon, hydrogen and renewable energy sectors.

Your Role

Design electrical systems for use cases of Hydrogen ranging from Refuelling stations to Fuel cell systems.

Key Responsibilities.

  1. Design of electrical panels for various hydrogen systems.
  2. Generating electrical designs that are compliant with BS7671 and ATEX regulations.
  3. Working with other Engineering disciplines to provide an integrated solution.
  4. Preparation of Bills of Material and specifying components that comply with specification.
  5. Preparation of Technical file documentation and assisting with the O&M Manuals.
  6. Ensure that the H&S, quality, and environmental procedures are followed.
  7. Maintain the projects ATEX documentation i.e. Atex registers etc.
  8. Supporting the customer services team.

Skills and Experience.

  1. Basic to intermediate proficiency of EPLAN.
  2. Awareness and designing to comply with various earthing philosophies.
  3. Design of control panels based on Siemens controllers and power distribution.
  4. Basic knowledge of ATEX Directive and Standards.
  5. Electrical engineering degree. Master’s degree desirable in a relevant Electrical engineering discipline.
  6. Electrical engineering experience: building and civil.
  7. Understanding of HV distribution
