Business Development Manager:
Take ownership of developing and expanding opportunities in the CO2 supply and distribution market. Using your industry knowledge, you will build strategic partnerships, negotiate contracts, and deliver commercial success. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines technical expertise with strong commercial acumen and is motivated to drive sustainable growth.

Key Skills & Duties:

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand CO2 supply partnerships and distribution channels.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and key stakeholders in the industrial gas and CO2 sectors.

  • Negotiate and finalise service level agreements, pricing terms, and delivery contracts.

  • Provide insight into CO2 market dynamics supply chains, logistics, storage infrastructure, and urban delivery requirements.

  • Analyse and model margins, pricing, and forecasts to support business growth and decision-making.

  • Work collaboratively across teams to deliver projects under tight timelines.

  • Represent the business at industry events and forums to drive visibility and growth.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Required:

  • 5–10 years in liquid gas distribution, with demonstrable expertise in CO2 supply chains (particularly in metropolitan markets such as London).

  • Proven record in B2B sales or account management within industrial or FMCG sectors.

  • Strong track record in contract negotiation and commercial development.

  • In-depth knowledge of UK South East CO2 logistics, storage, and delivery considerations.

  • Skilled in pricing, forecasting, and data-driven commercial decision-making.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Certifications in industrial gas safety or CO2 handling.

  • Experience in logistics management for CO2 supply (bulk storage through to last-mile delivery).

  • Familiarity with emerging CO2 technologies and applications.

  • Background working in regulated, multi-stakeholder urban environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • MBA or equivalent commercial training is advantageous.
