About the Job:
This role will oversee all preconstruction and design on all contracts nationwide. You’ll be responsible for managing daily operations, optimizing planning and health and safety processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and assisting internal teams to deliver excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Responsibility for overseeing the successful development and design of commercial solar pv projects
- Managing the design project from preconstruction stage.
- Liaise with internal teams to support supply chain management, logistics, and inventory management.
- Ensure industry standards, health and safety and compliance is met with each design process.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Solar Designer or similar role, ideally within the commercial sector
- NVQ Level 4 Qualification in Electrical Engineering, or Equivalent is advantageous
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and inventory management
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead by example
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and partners
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, Project, and CRM management software
