A research company who are involved in designing plants and projects across a wide range of industries are in need of a Project Manager, this is world leading and global changing technology to make the world a greener and healthier place to live and thrive.

Your role:
Expected to develop, track and report on detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation to deliver allocated projects on time within budget and scope. 

Responsible for developing the governance and project delivery control systems to consistently exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Develop system to standardise budgets, work plans, program and finance reports, and tracking changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Report and escalate to management as needed:
  • leading regular internal reviews of reporting, to ensure relevant resources are in place before monthly & quarterly reporting presented to stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Preparing and writing Proposals and client briefs for new projects
  • Monitoring of Project specific Intellectual Property ensuring appropriate record keeping
Essential:
  • Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in any major engineering discipline Mechanical / Electrical / Control Systems / Process engineering (or relevant science/technology) discipline.
  • 10+ years technical leadership experience in Project Management and implementation of MEICA projects from a variety of solids handling industries (for example any of Waste Recycling/ Food/ Agriculture/ Chemicals/ Aggregates);
  • 10 years practical operational experience working within a diverse and safety conscious engineering environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and in team settings.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with and support the development of a talented team.
  • A full UK driver’s license and willingness to travel.
