Job Title – Head of Engineering & Projects
Their Purpose – A pioneering technology company driving the global transition to a circular economy by converting hard-to-recycle plastic waste into valuable feedstocks for new plastic production.
Location & flexibility – Oxfordshire, UK.
Salary & Benefits – £75k - £90k with benefits including performance-based incentives, professional development opportunities, and the chance to lead groundbreaking sustainability projects.
About the Job –
• Lead the Technology Department, setting strategic and technical direction across all projects.
• Oversee process engineering deliverables from concept through commissioning and commercial operation.
• Manage technology aspects of major projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Drive innovation and optimization in process design and operational performance.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, external contractors, and industry partners while ensuring compliance with international codes and HSE requirements.
About you –
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline; Chartered Engineer status preferred.
• Extensive experience in process engineering within sectors such as energy-to-waste, biomass, carbon capture, or oil & gas.
• Proven track record of leading technology development from concept to commercial operation.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., API 520/521).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
