About the Job –
- Lead the design and engineering efforts for solar and battery projects across various scales including residential, commercial and utility.
- Utilize CAD software or similar tools to create detailed layouts, SLDs and Construction drawings for solar and battery installations.
- Produce and issue Electrical design submissions to IDNO,DNO for their approval for renewable projects. Also attend weekly progress meetings with client, IDNO, DNO for renewable projects and input to project program progress for deliverables.
- Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the sustainability of renewable energy solutions for specific project sites.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop comprehensive design proposals that meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
About you –
- Experienced within Electrical Engineering and ideally from a renewables background.
- Proficient in CAD software & Helius
- Hold a keen interest in the technical application of storage, smart-grid, peak-capping and demand response and have a clear vision of the multiple applications into these markets, from utility level Frequency Response, I&C integration of embedded generation and peak-cropping, to multiple aggregated technology that would enable micro-grid and smart grid applications with the ability to deliver such projects going forward.
