Job Title –  Business Development Manager
Their Purpose – A fast growing national company who specialise in the development, financing, construction and operation of commercial solar assets. They offer fully funded solar solutions saving clients money on energy bills as well as creating energy security.
Location &, flexibility – London | Hybrid or fully remote with travel to head office once a week.
Salary & Benefits – Up to £75k DOE +Bonus Scheme (% of KW), Car allowance and Private medical insurance.
About the Job –
You will be responsible for identifying and driving new commercial sales whilst building long term relationships within Warehouse Distribution Developers, High Energy Users, Data Center Owners/Developers, and similar roles.
  • In charge of overseeing the entire commercial contract lifecycle, from initial business development and tender procedures to final contract execution.
  • Proactively pursue new business prospects in the commercial renewable sector.
  • Nurture relationships with crucial stakeholders, ensuring projects adhere to top-notch quality and compliance standards, and managing contractual obligations. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to win contracts and expand market presence.
About you -
  • Proven experience in commercial solar contract management from initial cold discussion through to project sign off/development.
  • A proven track record of developing a strong network (existing contacts and leads) within distribution centers, data centers, film studios, or cold storage sectors.
  • Strong understanding of tender processes, procurement, and quality management including Opex, Capex and PPA involvement
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and accreditation processes is a bonus.
