About the Job –
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, potential clients, and emerging opportunities within the nuclear fusion industry.
- Identify and establish potential partnerships with diverse stakeholders to develop business opportunities and increase market presence.
- Lead the authoring of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the needs and objectives of potential clients and partners.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and its clients.
- Monitor and track sales performance, pipeline development, and business metrics to assist the Business Operations Manager with resourcing planning for UK and Europe consultancy projects and further the goals of the wider business.
About you –
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification, in one of the following areas: business administration, engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the engineering or technology sector, preferably in nuclear fusion or similar highly regulated industry.
- Experience in writing bids for consultancy projects. Experience in bidding for both public sector procurement tenders and for grant funding opportunities in the UK would be desirable. Experience in contributing to bids for engineering projects would also be desirable.
