Job Title – Technical Project Manager / Junior Project Manager
Their Purpose – A fast-growing advanced materials business developing next-generation battery technology to enable superfast charging across a range of industrial and consumer applications.
Location & flexibility – Cambridgeshire – 4 days onsite 1 day from home, international travel (3-4 times per year).

About the Job –

Manage a portfolio of technical product delivery projects. supporting the commercialisation of a flagship battery materials product.

Plan, execute and monitor projects from initiation to closure using a structured, phase-gated APQP framework.

Own day to day project delivery including schedules, reporting, budgets, risks and quality criteria.

Work closely with commercial, operational, technical and finance stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Manage third-party suppliers and contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes.
About you –
-
Degree qualified in an engineering or scientific discipline.

Experience within battery cell and/or battery pack manufacturing environments.

Practical working knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans and PPAP processes.

At least 1 year’s experience managing technical projects.

Strong communication skills with the ability to bring structure to fast-paced, high-uncertainty environments.
