Job Title – Senior Battery Pack Manufacturing Engineer

Their Purpose – A pioneering battery technology organisation developing advanced materials to enable next-generation superfast charging battery systems across e-mobility, electronics, and energy storage applications

Location & flexibility – Sawston, Cambridge; site-based with international travel to manufacturing partners in Asia

About the Job –
• Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring designs are optimised for manufacture and production readiness.
• Provide on-site engineering support to international manufacturing partners, driving process improvements and resolving issues.
• Develop and optimise battery pack manufacturing processes to meet quality, safety, and throughput targets.
• Support change management, APQP/PPAP processes, and quality systems including SPC and PFMEA.
• Work cross-functionally across engineering, quality, and supply chain teams in a global, collaborative environment.

About you –
• Degree-qualified engineer with strong experience in battery pack manufacturing environments.
• Proven knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a hands-on approach.
• Experience working with high-reliability or automotive quality standards is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced or scale-up environment with willingness to travel internationally.
