Senior Authorised Person (High Voltage)

About the Job –
- Act as a Senior Authorised Person in accordance with Model Distribution Safety Rules (MDSR).
- Take responsibility for electrical safety management on projects, ensuring compliance with relevant asset owner standards wherever possible.
- Manage projects safely and effectively, delivering against safety, quality, programme and cost objectives.
- Act as the key interface between customers, site teams and service providers, ensuring successful project delivery and resolution of site issues.
- Lead project reporting activities, including progress monitoring, cost control and variation management, while managing and coordinating project personnel.
- Minimum ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Existing Distribution Network Operator authorisations, ideally including 11kV overhead line and underground networks with Sanction for Test.
- Proven experience within the electrical supply or distribution network sector.
- Strong understanding of Distribution Safety Rules, health and safety legislation, electrical project delivery and HV plant and equipment.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
