Job Title – Project Manager

Their Purpose – A cutting-edge engineering organisation delivering bespoke components for the fusion energy sector, supporting advanced fuel cycle and heating systems across global markets.

Location & flexibility – Oxfordshire, x3 days a week in office + international travel opportunities.

Salary & Benefits – £60k - £65k, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension plan, private medical cash plan (Medicash), and career development support including a personal development budget.

About the Job –
• Lead and manage complex engineering projects within the fusion sector, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and financial forecasting
• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and present project reports, manage documentation such as RAID logs and change control, and chair project meetings
• Drive continuous improvement by reporting KPIs, managing risks, and ensuring lessons learned are applied to future projects.

About you –
• Degree qualified in a relevant science or engineering discipline, ideally chemical engineering or similar
• At least 5 years’ project management experience, preferably in complex engineering, manufacturing, or plant construction environments
• Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently with strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
• Flexible and collaborative approach, with willingness to travel internationally when required
