About the Job –
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple electrical infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
You will work closely with internal delivery, commercial and design teams alongside external contractors and customers to ensure smooth project execution and effective stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple electrical infrastructure projects simultaneously ranging from 11kv – 33kv
- Produce and maintain accurate programmes of work and project documentation
- Embed project controls and governance throughout delivery
- Manage project planning, milestones, scope, resources, contractors and change control
- Monitor project profitability, forecasting and commercial performance
- Provide operational and commercial reporting internally and externally
- Support lessons learned, continuous improvement and project feedback processes
- Attend sites to monitor quality, troubleshoot issues and support contractors
- Conduct management audits and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Manage cross-project dependencies and delivery coordination
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, sustainably and efficiently
- Work collaboratively across operations, design, commercial and delivery teams
About you –
- Experience delivering electrical infrastructure or utility projects within ICP, IDNO, DNO, EV charging or related environments
- Good understanding of electrical networks, designs, project lifecycle and industry terminology
- Strong commercial awareness including forecasting, reporting and change management
- Excellent organisational, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously within fast-paced delivery environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint and project reporting tools
- Basic understanding of tendering and commercial processes
- CSCS, SSSTS, Emergency First Aid and Full UK Driving Licence required
- SPA Petrol Forecourt desirable
- Experience working alongside electrical design teams and drawings
