Maintenance Engineer

Job Title – Maintenance / Project Engineer

Their Purpose – A specialist engineering business developing and supporting advanced measurement and assay systems used across highly regulated environments.

Location & flexibility – Based in Oxfordshire, with regular travel to customer sites across the UK and occasionally overseas.

Salary & Benefits – £50k - £55k + benefits

About the Job –
• Deliver on-site maintenance and support for specialist assay equipment.
• Plan, coordinate and complete scheduled maintenance visits for customer sites.
• Support project delivery teams with system design, build, testing and documentation.
• Complete system assembly tasks and functional testing of hardware and software.
• Engage directly with customers through meetings, updates and technical discussions.

About you –
• Experience maintaining scientific or technical equipment; nuclear or assay experience advantageous.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills with hands-on engineering experience.
• Familiar with project engineering and project delivery processes.
• Confident producing clear, accurate technical documentation.
• Able to work safely on regulated sites and meet security and behavioural expectations.
