About the Job:
An established renewable energy and electrical infrastructure business are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead / Quality Supervisor to oversee the technical quality, compliance, and delivery of electrical installations across projects.
This role combines hands-on electrical expertise with responsibility for quality control, inspections, accreditations, and compliance management across commercial and renewable energy projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with installation teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure all works are delivered to regulatory, contractual, and company standards. Experience within Solar PV, BESS, EV infrastructure, and commercial electrical installations would be highly beneficial.
- Act as the technical lead for electrical installations across projects
- Support electrical teams, supervisors, and subcontractors with technical guidance
- Review electrical designs to ensure compliance and constructability
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assessments
- Ensure compliance with BS7671, British Standards, H&S legislation, and client specifications
- Manage defects, corrective actions, and close-out processes
- Oversee NICEIC, NAPIT, MCS, and other electrical accreditations
- Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and accreditation reviews
- Act as the key contact for accreditation bodies and external auditors
- Support quality oversight across Solar PV, BESS, and EV infrastructure projects
- Review commissioning documentation and installation standards
- Drive continuous improvement across quality and compliance processes
About you:
- Electrically qualified with strong knowledge of BS7671 and electrical compliance
- Experience supervising, auditing, or quality checking electrical installations
- Familiar working with NICEIC, NAPIT, MCS, or similar accreditations
- Ability to review drawings, specifications, and test documentation
- Experience within commercial electrical, Solar PV, BESS, or EV infrastructure projects desirable
- Full UK driving licence
