They are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of its UK commercial & industrial Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage and EV infrastructure portfolio.
This is a front-end origination role focused on identifying, developing and closing new PPA opportunities across the UK C&I market.

About the Job:
This role will sit within the commercial team and work closely with senior leadership to originate and convert commercial Solar PV, BESS and EV infrastructure opportunities across the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with senior decision makers, building a high-quality pipeline and managing opportunities through to commercial close.
This is a true business development/origination role rather than account management, requiring someone comfortable operating in long-cycle, multi-stakeholder sales environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and close new PPA opportunities across the UK C&I market
- Develop and maintain a high-quality pipeline of opportunities
- Identify and engage target customers aligned with investment strategy
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders across finance, estates, sustainability and operations teams
- Lead complex sales processes through to commercial agreement
- Work closely with technical, legal and finance teams to progress opportunities
- Drive deal momentum and remove barriers to close
- Provide accurate forecasting and CRM management
- Monitor competitor activity and wider market trends
- Support refinement of commercial messaging and sector targeting.
- Proven track record winning new business in complex B2B environments
- Experience within renewables, energy, infrastructure or related sectors preferred
- Strong experience managing long-cycle sales processes
- Ability to independently generate and convert opportunities
- Comfortable engaging senior and C-suite stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability

- Disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting
